Background
Excel is a world leading events centre based in London's Docklands. Having installed floor-standing touchscreens throughout the concourse they approached us to build an app to let visitors know which food outlets were open in the venue in real time.
Project
We created a bespoke app to run on the touchscreens which was updated via an app. Staff at Excel could set a timetable for opening and closing times and the app would display only those food outlets which were open. If a manager wanted to close a food outlet they could do so with the tap of a button. Users could swipe through the food outlets that were open and filter by food type to find their ideal meal.
