McDonalds were looking at ways to engage and retain their core staff members in the UK and Ireland. We created social media apps for them to foster this engagement and ran lotteries and competitions to award prizes to staff.
The apps authenticate users from McDonalds using SAML technology. Once authenticated, staff have a social media style experience where they're able to upload photos, post comments, search content, and interact with each other. In addition to this our systems provide prize giveaways based on competitions and user engagement. These have proved popular ways to retain and engage with staff at all levels across the business.
